The Town of Lingle was incorporated September 7, 1918 and was named after H.D. Lingle. The Town of Lingle was largely built from the Railroad and Agriculture. Lingle is a “Small But Proud” community comprised of people who believe in rugged Gity, G responsibility, are compassionate and have a strong sense of community.

Located in Torrington, WMCI is Wyoming’s primary intake center for male inmates. Since opening in 2010, the facility has focused on safety, rehabilitation, and helping individuals prepare for life after incarceration. Through education, treatment, and job training programs, WMCI works to give people the tools they need to make lasting change.

The South Goshen Conservation District is a dedicated organization focused on preserving and protecting the natural resources and environmental quality of the South Goshen area. Through their conservation efforts, they aim to maintain the ecological balance, promote sustainable land use practices, and ensure the long-term well-being of the region. The district actively engages with the local community, providing education, resources, and support to foster environmental awareness and encourage responsible stewardship of the land.

Fort Laramie, a town just three miles east of the renowned Fort Laramie National Historic Site, originates from the fur traders and emigrants who ventured into the wild western frontier. Serving as an ideal base, Fort Laramie offers convenient access to the main attraction, Fort Laramie National Historic Site, where visitors can delve into the captivating stories of Wyoming’s first garrisoned post and explore the preserved structures of the Oregon, Mormon, and California trails.

LaGrange, a charming village on the Wyoming plains, is surrounded by sprawling ranches and vast farmlands, creating a picturesque Western landscape.
